Notifying the immigration office

Even after you get an ED visa for 1 year you have to notify your address to the immigration office after every 90 days. For this purpose, you will have to fill out a short form.

Who is required to Fill out the address registration form       ( TM 30) in Thailand?

The TM30 declaration is more than just paperwork. It’s your gateway to compliance with immigration regulations. Within 24 hours of arriving at your residence in Thailand, you must notify immigration authorities of your place of residence. But here’s the twist—the responsibility doesn’t solely fall on your shoulders. Hosts, whether they’re hotels, landlords, or even friends, are now mandated to register their foreign guests within that same 24-hour window. These measures are in place to ensure the safety and accountability of all residents and visitors within Thailand’s borders. Whether you’re relocating, traveling frequently, or settling in for an extended stay, adhering to the TM30 regulations is paramount. But the TM30 isn’t the only essential message in Thailand. There’s also the 90-day declaration, a crucial step for those planning an extended stay. Remember, timely compliance with these regulations is not just a formality—it’s a legal requirement that, if neglected, could lead to penalties and complications.
